Margulies Rejected By TV Show Bosses

Actress Julianna Margulies still gets rejected from TV shows - she lost out on a part on Gabriel Byrne's cable hit In Treatment just last year (09).

The former E.R. star was desperate to land a role on the critically acclaimed drama and offered to audition for it - to prove she was perfect for the part.

And I said, 'I'll audition

"There was a great role and they said, 'Well, we're not sure you're right'. And I said, 'I'll audition...' I went and did a great audition and still got rejected. And there I was... going, 'What am I doing? This is horrible.' But you do it because you love it (acting)".

However, Margulies wasn't fazed by the knock-back for too long - her role in hit U.S. show The Good Wife won her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama earlier this year (Feb10).
