French actress-turned-director Julie Delpy is hoping to get the ultimate boost for her fledgling filmmaking career - by asking Woody Allen to star in her next movie.
But I don't know if I'll do it
The actress is keen to cast the revered writerdirector in new film Virgo Rising and she's plucking up the courage to ask.
Delpy tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I have to see. Maybe it's not such a good film. It's called Virgo Rising. It's very funny. But I don't know if I'll do it. I don't know if I'll ever dare to offer him the part".
The actress will co-star with Allen if he agrees.
