I wasn't invited to the wedding and from what I know it's because he (Timberlake) didn't want all of us there to make it all about us
Chris Kirkpatrick insists he has no hard feelings about not getting an invite to Justin Timberlake's nuptials - because he understands his 'NSYNC bandmate wanted the big day to be all about bride Jessica Biel.
Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and J.C. Chasez were left off the guest list when Timberlake married in Italy on 19 October, sparking rumors of a rift between himself and the rest of the group, but the former pop star insists it was the right decision - because news of the reunited boy band would have distracted from the ceremony.
He tells Florida radio station XL1067, "I wasn't invited to the wedding and from what I know it's because he (Timberlake) didn't want all of us there to make it all about us. It would be a reunion (for 'NSYNC) rather than a wedding. It was her day. She's amazing so he wanted to make sure it was about her.
"It wasn't hard feelings on anybody. We were at the engagement party".
Ironically, Kirkpatrick was in Italy celebrating his own engagement to girlfriend Karly Skladany while Timberlake and Biel were exchanging vows.
