Beckinsale Set for Total Recall

Kate Beckinsale is set to step into Sharon Stone's Total Recall role in her husband Len Wiseman's upcoming remake, according to a U.S. report.

The British actress' moviemaker partner is updating the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger film with Colin Farrell in the lead role.

Wiseman has now reportedly asked his spouse to step in to play Farrell's onscreen wife, Lori - the part made famous by Stone in the original action blockbuster, according to Deadline.com.

The movie is set to begin filming next month (May11) ahead of a planned2012 release.
