Moss 'I Hate Fame'

Kate Moss is nothing like the partygirl she's portrayed as in the press -and insists she hates the fame her success as a supermodel has granted her.

Moss is as famous for her off-the-runway antics as her fashion achievements thanks to high profile relationships with the likes of Johnny Depp and rocker Pete Doherty.

In 2005 she was photographed snorting a white substance during a recording session with Doherty, prompting a huge drug scandal, which threatenedto derail her modelling career.

I have no idea why people are interested in me

But Moss insists she's misrepresented in the media and actually tries to shy away from fame.

The 35 year old mum says, "It's not me, it's a character I'm made into.I have no idea why people are interested in me. "I don't like being famous.

It encroaches on your life a lot.

It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable talking about it, actually.

But it's something I'm learning to deal with".
