Holmes to Take Dance Skills to TV Talent Show

Katie Holmes is so desperate to get back onstage after making her Broadway bow last year (08), she's taking dance lessons and hopes to show off her skills on a U.S. TV talent contest.

The actress has had secret meetings with producers of hit show So You Think You Can Dance and hopes to surprise America with an upcoming appearance, according to Life and Style magazine.

She's met with judge and producer Nigel Lythgoe and everyone hopes she appears on this season or next season of the show

Holmes has been spotted visiting dance studios in the Los Angeles area in recent weeks, but refused to explain why she was taking lessons.

Holmes won praise when she took to the New York stage last year to starin Arthur Miller's All My Sons.
