Worrying about her songs means Kelly Clarkson suffers with insomnia. The singer admits many of her lyrics and hits come to her as she's trying to get to sleep and has to write them down or record them on the spot.She says, "The moment a song comes to me, I have to get it out. That's why I have a hard time sleeping, because a lot of those times are at night."Clarkson shot to fame when she won the first series of American Idol. She achieved success with he debut album Thankful which entered the Billboard 200 at number one selling 2.7 million copies in the U.S alone.Her second album Breakaway spent sixty one consecutive week inside the Billboard 200 and won two Grammy Awards.The singer parted company with her management in June following controversy over her third album My December. She has now signed with Starstruck Entertainment.
