Kelsey Grammer's publicist has fired back at reports suggesting the actor and his wife Kayte Walsh broke the law and failed to secure their four-month-old baby in a child's car seat before leaving a Los Angeles airport on Tuesday (27Nov12).
In footage obtained by TMZ.com, former air hostess Walsh seated herself in the chauffeur-driven car and placed baby daughter Faith on her lap, violating California law which states any child under eight years old must be "secured in a child restraint that meets federal motor vehicle safety standards".
No child seat was visible as the was driven away from the terminal.
But Grammer's representative, Stan Rosenfield, has denied the pair acted improperly, insisting his client placed a car seat in the vehicle and seated the baby securely before leaving airport grounds.
Last month (Oct12), Grammer was criticised for taking his baby to a Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion.
He defended his actions, insisting he and his wife didn't have a "trusted" babysitter.
