Kevin Connolly Mourning Loss of Dog

Entourage star Kevin Connolly has been left devastated by the death of his beloved dog.

The actor's mixed-breed pooch, Bossy, suffered a fatal stroke earlier this month (Aug10) while Connolly was on vacation in Mexico.

The pet's loss was even more poignant for Connolly because Bossy had provided some much-needed companionship when his mother Eileen died from cancer last year (09), reports the National Enquirer.

A close pal tells the tabloid, "Kevin is absolutely devastated. Bossy was his best friend and helped him get through his mother's death last year.

"He was in Cabo San Lucas when a friend called with the bad news.

"Kevin immediately cancelled the rest of his trip and flew back to Los Angeles... He's taking Bossy's death so hard.

He just can't seem to come to termswith it". Connolly adopted his furry friend from a shelter and named the dog after his childhood ice hockey hero Mike Bossy.
