Kristen Stewart has reportedly dropped out of plans to star in director Nick Cassavetes' new romantic drama.
The Twilight star, who has suffered a media and fan backlash after confessing she cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with married director Rupert Sanders last month, had been due to romance Magic Mike hunk Alex Pettyfer in forthcoming film Cali - but she is said to have quit the project.
An article on GossipCop.com suggests Amber Heard is being considered as her replacement.
An official announcement is expected to be released later this week.
Stewart shocked Hollywood when she admitted to an "indiscretion" with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Sanders.
The revelation appears to have ended her three-year relationship with Twilight co-star Pattinson after moving vans were spotted outside the Los Angeles Home they shared.
