British woman to beat pea phobia with hypnotherapy

A British woman suffering from a phobia of peas is to undergo hypnotherapy and acupuncture on a television show to treat her condition, it was reported Tuesday.Louise Arnold, 35, is so scared of the small green vegetables that seeing them on her plate causes her to flee from restaurants and pubs.In a final attempt to overcome her five-year-old phobia, Arnold hopes to attract expert help with her appearance on a TV show discussing food allergies, fears and bizarre phobias.The mother of one claims she goes green at the sight of peas in magazines or on the TV and avoids the frozen food aisle while shopping."I'd love to lead a normal life and be able to go to the pub and have a drink," she said.
