She says, "When you're pregnant, people love giving advice. And the advice that I have the most disdain for is, 'Oh, kids are so adaptable. Just throw them on your back and take them wherever you want. They will manage.'
I brought my daughter to London for four months and she is happy here, we have had a great time here, but she wakes up in the morning and says, 'Mama, I miss Brooklyn.'
"I think, yes, it is hard to be two and all of a sudden be in a totallynew place. It's very different to being 31 and doing that. The thing is,children are adaptable. They will manage, I believe, but always at a cost".
