Mark Wahlberg's moving movie

5 months ago 19th Jun 13:30

Mark Wahlberg said he cried while watching his latest film.

The 'Boogie Nights' star admits he finds it difficult to keep his emotions in check, and says scenes in his latest film, 'The Happening', reduced him to tears.

He said: "I cry so easily it's ridiculous. I cried at 'The Happening' when John Leguizamo's character Julian had to say goodbye to his daughter because I can't help but think, 'Wow, what if that really happened to somebody?'"

Mark plays Elliott Moore in the film, a man who flees his hometown after a substance is released which causes people to voluntarily commit suicide.

Meanwhile, Mark has admitted his forthcoming role in 'Max Payne' is the most "challenging" he has faced.

He said: "'Max Payne' is not a one-trick pony. It's probably one of the edgier roles I've played but also the most layered. Here's a very happy guy who worked a dismal job, had a beautiful family. But the beauty in his life was taken away. He just goes on a rampage. It's all driven by emotion.

Two weeks out I was just dying. I wanted my life back."
