Mark Wahlberg's delay woe

1 month ago 14th Oct 13:30

Mark Wahlberg is "depressed" about the fate of his new movie.

The 'Departed' actor is currently training to prepare for his role in 'The Fighter' but admits he doesn't know when they are going to start shooting - or even if the project is to go ahead.

He said: "We haven't started shooting yet and I don't know if we're going to start. I keep on training and I don't know. We'll wait and see. Hopefully we'll get a start date one of these days and we can make the movie.

"A whole bunch of things are delaying it. It's too depressing to talk about. I get up every day at 5am to train for a movie that might not even happen. It's depressing."

Despite his disappointment, Mark admits the delays have one advantage - he will be more convincing in his role.

He explained to ComingSoon.net: "I've been training for quite a long time, two years. The great thing about training is that I just keep getting better and better in the ring. Ultimately if I can train for another six months and look like a world class fighter that would be great, as opposed to other people who have done it and probably trained for three weeks and then shot it and looked like they're in a Hollywood movie."
