Matthew Fox TV Appearance Ends In Injury

Matthew Fox appeared on late-night TV in America on Wednesday (13May09) with his arm in a sling after a skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live! went 'awry'.

Fox and Kimmel pretended to fight over a cup of coffee, staging a staring contest while singing along to Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes.

The twosome even showered together and when Fox dropped the soap, Kimmel felt sure he had won the contest - until the actor revealed a soap on a rope tied around his wrist.

The chat show host eventually won the stare-off when Fox fell down an open manhole cover - and Kimmel caught his coffee.

Matthew Fox gained worldwide fame starring in JJ Abrams' Lost as Dr Jack Shephard, a series which is now in it's fifth series. However the series is expected to end in the 2009-2010 series.

Away from Lost Fox has been slowly trying to build up a movie career starring in Vantage Point and Speed Racer. He will play the lead role of Billy Smoke in Billy Smoke which is to be released next year.
