Green campaigners have urged Megan Fox to reduce her carbon footprint, after confessing she leaves all the lights on in her house because she's afraid of the dark.
The Transformers beauty, 23, admitted last week (ends25Sep09) that she insists on keeping her home well-lit to avoid returning to a dark, empty place.
She said, "I've been afraid of the dark my whole life. If I go into my house at night and the lights have been turned off... I have to run from the door to the light switch to turn it on... I'm just afraid of what I can't see".

But Fox's comments have prompted campaigners at non-profit organisationDo Something to call on the actress to set a better example to her youngfans and be more environmentally friendly.
A representative for Do Something tells Wenn "Everyone's allowed an irrational fear or two, but it's pretty easy to keep your house well-lit without wasting energy.
"Megan can install a programmable light timer or even some motion-sensor lighting. Coupled with efficient Cfl (compact fluorescent light) or Led(light-emitting diode) bulbs, she can really lower her electric bill andreduce her carbon footprint".
Do Something, co-founded by former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue in 1993, aims to encourage teens to make small changes in their daily lives to make a difference to the world.
