Melanie Griffith has been criticised for breaking a verbal agreement with a ghostwriter over her autobiography. The Hollywood actress - who has been married four times and battled a painkiller addiction - has been accused by Bonnie Robinson of breaking a promise she made to Robinson stating she would work with the writer to produce her autobiography. Angry Robinson told America's New York Post newspaper: "Two years ago, she promised to do her autobiography with me when she turned 50, which she will be this coming August. "In fact, she shook hands on the deal and gave me her solemn word."She's now told me she won't do the book and that she has no recollection of such a promise." Robinson recently ran into Griffith, who is married to fellow actor Antonio Banderas, in Aspen, Colorado. But when she mentioned their agreement to the 'Working Girl' actress, Griffith denied all knowledge. Robinson said: "She told me that she wouldn't do the book and that she had no recollection of such a promise. Her mood was very bitchy."
