Actress Melissa George appears to have moved on from ex-beau Russell Simmons after she was spotted passionately kissing a mystery man at a BritishAcademy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) Awards afterparty on Sunday (12Feb12).

The Australian beauty and the rap mogul began dating last summer (11) but decided to end their romance several weeks ago after struggling to maintain a long-distance relationship.

George looked stunning in a Victoria Beckham dress as she graced the red carpet at the Bafta prize giving in London on Sunday - and she embraced her single status by reportedly smooching with a dark-haired man on the dancefloor at an afterparty.

According to Britain's Daily Mail, the man is a member of the production team on The Artist, which claimed seven of the night's big awards.
