Mena Suvari has been spotted working in a jewellery shop.Onlookers outside the fashionable Suzanne Felsen jewellers in Melrose, Los Angeles, were stunned when they saw the 'American Beauty' actress in the shop after closing time, helping staff put away the stock.However, the 27-year-old star was not after a part-time job, and was in fact looking to buy new earrings. When the actress arrived at the shop earlier that day, the staff were too busy to fully attend to her needs, so she ended up waiting outside until closing time and eventually helping to clear up.Mena's efforts paid off, as she walked away with a spectacular pair of 18 karat white gold and amethyst hoop earrings, worth $3,200.Mena will appear in horror thriller 'Day of the Dead' this year - a remake of George A. Romero's classic 1985 zombie film of the same name.The original film told the story of a small group of survivors hiding inside an underground military bunker, while the world is being overtaken by killer zombies.
