He added to Parade.com: "I did start to feel like I was getting boxed in by the Mr. Blonde thing, although I'm obviously very fond of 'Reservoir Dogs' because it gave me a career.

"But every time somebody needed a killer to throw someone out the window, they'd give me a call. I did start to feel kind of like I needed to get off of that.

"I guess people have forgotten I was that nice dad in 'Free Willy'. These days, I'm a lot less tense about the bad guy thing."
