Mick Jagger Begged Richards To Change Book

Sir Mick Jagger begged Keith Richards to revise his autobiography - because he was desperate to keep his singing lessons a secret.
The Rolling Stones guitarist continuously berates his bandmate in the upcoming memoir, Life, revealing his secret nickname for Jagger is "Your Majesty", likening him to an annoying mynah bird and suggesting he has a small penis.
But Richards insists his friend only took exception to the mention of his vocal coach.
He explains, "Funnily enough, it was the weirdest thing he wanted taken out. I mean, look. You know, I love the man. I've known him since I was four years old, right. But the bit he wanted taken out was how he used a vocal coach.
"Everyone knew it anyway. It's been in a million interviews, but for some reason, he was like, 'You know, could we leave that out?' And I went, 'No! I'm trying to say the truth here.'"
Keith Richards also admitted recently he had no idea who Johnny Depp was when they first met at the Rolling Stones star's house - he assumed the actor was one of his son's "dope dealer" friends.
Depp has cited the guitarist as the inspiration behind his swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean character Jack Sparrow and the pair even starred as father and son in the franchise's third installment in 2007.
But Depp failed to make an impression on his idol at their first meeting - the rocker just thought he was a friend of his son Marlon.
Richards recalls, "It took me two years before I realised who he was. He was just one of my son Marlon's mates, hanging around the house playing guitar. I never ask Marlon's mates who they are, because you know, (they say) 'I'm a dope dealer'.
"Then one day he was at dinner (eating with a knife and fork) and I'm like, 'Whoa! Scissorhands!' Then I find out he's an actor, and like one of the biggest Keith Richards fans in the world - and how do I deal with that? 'Get over it, Johnny.'"
