Rourke Upset Over Dead Dog Joke

Trash-talking The Wrestler star Mickey Rourke has threatened to serve up a beat down on U.S. TV pundit Joel McHale - after the E! News presenter poked fun at the actor's dead dog.

The movie star is still mourning the loss of his beloved chihuahua Loki, who died just before the Oscars in February (09), and he didn't take kindly to McHale's recent comments about the pooch.

On his show, The Soup, the funnyman said, "Many say it was a pretty gay friendly Oscars (and) we think it could have been even gay friendlier, here's how... a tribute to Mickey Rourke's chihuahua".

But, at the premiere of his new film The Informers in Hollywood on Thursday (16-Apr-09), Rourke sent out a warning to McHale

"Who's the guy who made fun of my dog...? Motherf**cker! Who's that guy, Joel McHale? He's gonna get a slap in the face... That ain't right. If you see him, tell him he's gonna get a slap in the face".'
