Hannah Montana co-creator sues Disney chiefs

The co-creator of Miley Cyrus' TV show is suing Disney bosses, claiming he is owed royalties from Hannah Montana merchandise.Michael Poryes filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles on Monday, accusing executives at the studio of failing to pay him a cut of the profits from Hannah Montana movies, books and other accessories, citing the billions Disney has profited from the success of the franchise.He is seeking almost $1 million in compensatory damages, plus punitive damages, interest and court costs, reports TMZ.com.
