Montag's Father Stunned By Elope

Heidi Montag has left her father in the dark. The Hills star stunned father is still waiting for confirmation that his daughter has eloped with boyfriend Spencer Pratt

The couple reportedly wed in Mexico, but Montag's father Bill is still waiting to hear from his daughter before he believes the happy news.

He tells Life & Style magazine, "I haven’t heard from them. I’ve only heard about it because people have been calling me!"

"I got a text message from Heidi the other day, but that was it. I talked to her last week and she said they were going down there (to Mexico) for a vacation for the weekend.

"I like Spencer, so it would be fine. I was hoping they would get married in a regular type of thing, like a church wedding. I certainly would want her to have another ceremony for people and her friends. We want to have a nice thing for her, that’s for sure.

Unfortunately, she’s just like her father. She just kind of does what she wants to do, and that’s the way she is."
