Sheridan Denies Desperate Housewives Firing....

Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan has laughed off rumours she will be kicked off the hit show at the end of its fifth season.The sexy 44-year-old has been at the centre of internet rumours claiming she is to be fired from the programme and her character Edie Britt killed off.But Sheridan has denied the speculation, insisting her character is set for some explosive storylines - even hinting that she will be the only star left in the sitcom.

She tells U.S. TV show Extra, "Please! Edie's going to be causing trouble.The househags have done terrible, terrible things to Edie."There will only be one moment of true revenge when all of them are gone, and Edie remains!" Meanwhile in seperate news the Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan has settled a lawsuit with her former manager after he sued her for firing him.The actress was accused of sacking Rob Lee in 2004 after he helped her secure her role in the show.

On Tuesday (25Mar08), Sheridan's lawyer Paul Sorrell says she and Lee settled the claim after mediation.
