Actress Olivia Wilde has pledged to send personal thank-you messages to every fan who donates more than £125 towards helping the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.

The House star has said that she will make personalised video messages to each one of her followers on blogging website Twitter who make such a donation to the Artists for Peace and Justice's Project Haiti campaign.

In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page Wilde writes, "Its worse every minute guys, so we are raising the stakes. Those who give $200 or more will get a personal thank you video... THANK YOU for your donation, OF ANY AMOUNT. They are all crucial.”

She followed up by saying "I swear to you that every dollar is going directly to the Haitians who need it most. THANK YOU."

She followers other celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Jessica Alba, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Wyclef Jean in asking her Twitter followers to donate towards helping those left homeless after the disaster.

The earthquake struck the tiny, poverty stricken Caribbean nation on Tuesday and has left tens of thousands dead, hundreds of thousands homeless and up to three million people affected.
