Oprah Winfrey Wins TV Bet With Piers Morgan

Oprah Winfrey has won her TV bet with Piers Morgan after booking controversial American football star Michael Vick for an interview.
 
Both Winfrey and Morgan were after the first in-depth TV chat with the disgraced Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, who was jailed for 20 months in 2007 for his role in an illegal dog fighting ring.
 
And when the British TV personality interviewed Oprah on his first CNN show, he bet her "one hundred British pounds" that he'd beat her to the big TV get.
 
Winfrey was so confident she doubled the wager - and it seems her confidence has paid off, because she'll interview Vick on her show on Thursday (17Feb11).
