Paris Hilton has spent thousands of dollars on improving security at her California home after a recent burglary left the socialite scared for hersafety.
The hotel heiress was devastated when thieves targeted her mansion in Sherwood Oaks, Los Angeles and got away with an estimated $2 million (£1.4 million) worth of gems.
Cops in L.A. recently arrested a group of teenagers believed to be responsible for a spate of burglaries in the area, and managed to return someof Hilton's stolen jewellery.

The Simple Life star admits the raid left her feeling paranoid, so she splashed out on a high-tech new security system to help put her mind at ease.
She tells Radar Online, "I am very upset that these people went into myhome and did this to me. It was so wrong and such an invasion of privacy. Since then I have upped my security majorly, I have 24 hour security guarding my home and cameras and alarms everywhere so this will never happen again".
