Paul Giamatti: 'I Was Not a Member of Yale Secret Society'

Sideways star Paul Giamatti has dismissed reports he was a member of Yale University's sinister Skull & Bones secret society.

The actor has been dogged by links to the traditional peer society ever since his career took off, but he insists he was never elected to the Skull & Bones and was never a member.

He tells us, "I'm not actually a member of that organisation... It's unfortunately an incorrect fact about me and it's all over the place."

Giamatti graduated from Yale in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in English. He went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama.
