Penn Badgley's 'Routine' Gossip Girl

Penn Badgley is ringing the death knell on hit teen drama Gossip Girl, insisting the show has become "routine" in its fourth year.
 
The bored actor stars as Dan Humphrey on the hit show, which won over audiences after its debut in 2007, but he admits the job has grown stale.
 
He tells the New York Post he's keen to move on, stating, "It is what it is. It's the fourth season. It's become routine."
 
And there's another reason why Badgley is no longer enjoying life on the set - he and his girlfriend Blake Lively are "not friends" with their co-stars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr.
 
He adds, "We're not friends. I mean we just don't double date."
