Peter Falk cause-of-death revealed...

Peter Falk, the star of Columbo died after suffering a cardiac arrest after battling with pneumonia.

The beloved actor passed away at his LA home last month at the age of 83.

Newly-released papers, filed with the LA County Department of Public Health and obtained by TMX.com list Falk's main cause of death as cardiorespiratory arrest.

Pneumonia is listed as an underlying cause of death, as is his advancing Alzeheimer's, which he had be suffering from towards the end of his life.
