Phillip Schofield has taken a break from presenting 'This Morning' to be with his dying father.The 46-year-old star has missed two of the daily shows this week and is not due back until next week at the earliest.Phillip's 72-year-old father Bryan was hospitalised earlier this year with a mystery illness before returning home to Oxfordshire in February. Bryan's hospital stay saw the presenter make regular dashes to his dad's bedside between filming 'Dancing on Ice', which he co-hosted with Holly Willoughby, and sleeping on a camp bed at the hospital.However, father-of-two Phillip has now decided to take a complete break from his professional commitments to be with Bryan.A friend of the presenter said: "It is so heartbreaking to see. Phillip and Bryan are very close."Phillip's 'This Morning' co-host Fern Britton was joined by 'Torchwood' actor John Barrowman to present the popular ITV show yesterday (29.04.08).
