Police Arrested In Sarah Jessica Parker Surrogate Case

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's surogate is in the middle of yet more scandal as two police chielfs have been arrested for a allegedly devising a plan to break into her home.

The Hollywood couple, who welcomed twin girls via surrogate on 23 June (09), have been swept up in the ongoing investigation surrounding an alleged tabloid scam to dig up dirt on the woman who carried their babies.

Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack were booked into the Belmont County, Ohio jail at approximately 9pm on Wednesday (29Jul09).

Bruce Callarik, the son of Bridgeport's mayor John Callarick, was also arrested in connection with the case, reports TMZ.com.

The three men posted bond shortly after their arrests. Charges made against the men had not been released as FemaleFirst went to press.

Parker and her husband Broderick tried to keep the identity of the woman who was carrying their children away from the press.
