The Duke Of Edinburgh is "responding well" as he receives hospital treatment for a bladder infection.
Prince Philip was admitted to a medical centre in Scotland on Wednesday (15Aug12) with a recurrence of the illness he suffered in June (12), when he spent five nights in hospital recovering.
Now Buckingham Palace officials have released a statement confirming the Duke is likely to remain in hospital for a "few more days" but is steadily recovering.
The statement reads "The Duke Of Edinburgh is responding well to treatment.
"It is unclear when he will be discharged, but he is likely to remain in hospital for a few more days".
