Ralph Fiennes is set to play Lord Voldemort in the next 'Harry Potter' film. Fiennes is the latest in a long line of big names to sign up for the movie.A movie villain veteran, with previous turns as a Nazi officer in 'Schindler's List' and a serial killer in 'Red Dragon', the Oscar winner will play Potter's evil wizard archrival in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'. Fiennes has been rumoured to be in talks for some time but has previously declared himself nervous of the role as it means committing to play Voldemort in the fifth Potter tale, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' and almost certainly in Rowling's forthcoming sixth title 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince'. The 41-year-old actor joins a British star-studded cast including Robbie Coltrane as the half-giant Hagrid, Alan Rickman as Professor Snape, and Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall. Miranda Richardson has also been confirmed to play nosy reporter Rita Skeeter.

Meanwhile Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have reprised their roles as Harry, Hermione and Ron and have already started work on 'Goblet of Fire'. The film is slated to arrive in cinemas in November 2005.
