Reality Star Fined And Handed Probation After Drink-Drive Arrest

Shayne Lamas U.S. reality star has been fined $300 (£187.50) due to her arrest last month.

The star was arrested back in November on suspicion of drinking under the influence (DUI)

The star found herself in hot water with the police after having an afternoon vodka in Venice, California.

Shayne  sprung to fame by winning America’s reality dating show The Bachelor she spoke out about the arrest calling it the  “most embarrassing experience" and promising never to drive after having a drink again.

The daughter of TV hunk Lorenzo Lamas escaped a conviction after pleading no contest to the lesser charge of wet reckless - reckless driving that is alcohol related when she appeared in a California court on Monday 7th December.

Lamas was then fines and sentenced to three year’s probation and order by the court to attend an alcohol education programme.

She was also order to complete community service at a morgue to learn how serious the consequences of a DUI can be.
