Actress Reese Witherspoon has shot down reports she's preparing to become Mrs. Jake Gyllenhaal, insisting she's not engaged to the Jarhead star.

The Legally Blonde beauty, who was previously married to Ryan Phillippe, has been dating Gyllenhaal since 2007 after meeting on the set of Rendition.

Britain's OK! magazine claims the couple is now planning to exchange vows after Witherspoon was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger.
