Revd. Al Sharpton, a leading African-American Rights Campaigner has been convicted of Disorderly Conduct, after taking part in a protest in May of this year in New York.Sharpton Was Among 250 People Arrested For Blocking Bridges And Walkways While Protesting The 2006 Shooting Death Of Sean Bell.Police Shot And Killed Bell On His Wedding Day. The Activists Were Protesting The Acquittal Of The Three Police Officers Involved In The Shooting. Sharpton, Who Spent Over Five Hours Behind Bars Following His Arrest, And Seven Others Were Sentenced To Time Served.Rapper Lil Wayne even lashed out U.S. civil rights leader, branding the minister a "nobody" in his song lyrics.
