Ben Stiller is still hanging his head with embarrassment after touring the White House with Ricky Gervais, because the British funnyman showed up at the U.S. President's home in his pyjamas.
The actors, who co-star in upcoming film Night at the Museum Battle ofthe Smithsonian, paid a recent visit to Washington, D.C. to premiere thenew movie.
Gervais had already sent his business attire to the dry cleaners when they received a last-minute invitation to the home of President Barack Obama.
But The Office star was determined to make the trip even if it meant posing for pictures in his pyjamas - and Stiller is still haunted by his co-star's crude behaviour.
And Ricky Gervais, British Ricky Gervais, shows up in a black t-shirt and draw string yoga pants
He says, "I went (on the tour) with Ricky Gervais because he's in the movie. They told us to dress business. I wore a suit and tie. And Ricky Gervais, British Ricky Gervais, shows up in a black t-shirt and draw string yoga pants. It's very beyond casual - like ready to meditate or something. And then he's running around like, 'Oh, this is where our American president lives! Where's the dog?'"
Meanwhile Stiller was beaten up by two monkeys on the set of his new movie Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian.
The actor was filming a fight scene with the mischievous primates when they gave him several slaps to the face and body.
And Stiller admits he wanted to punch back but was wary of breaking animal rights laws - so took out his frustration on a dummy monkey instead.
He says, "We have two this time. I had to do a slap fight with them. I basically get slapped by both of them, but I am not allowed to slap them back because of animal rights, so I have to slap a dummy or a tennis ball when they're off-screen. It's a weird experience."
