Robert Downey Jr to star in cartoon animation

Robert Downey Jr is getting animated for his new voice clever cartoon dog Mr Peabody on the big screen.

The Iron Man star has signed on to DreamWorks' forthcoming film Peabody and Sherman, based on the characters from the popular late 1950's and 60's series, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

It will be directed by The Lion King's Rob Minkoff and is expected to be in cinemas in 2014, reports EW.com.
