Robert Downey, Jr. Welcomes Son

Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife Susan have become parents to a baby boy.

The Iron Man star and his film producer wife announced they were expecting their first child together in August (11) and Susan gave birth to Exton Elias Downey in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning (07Feb12).

A friend of the happy couple tells People.com, "Everyone is healthy andthey couldn't be happier".

Downey, Jr. is also father to 18-year-old son Indio, from his previous marriage to actress Deborah Falconer.

The new parents wed in 2005.
