Robert Pattinson has been crowned the Sexiest Man In The World by a British magazine.

The Twilight heart-throb topped the list compiled by Glamour magazine to find the hottest Hollywood hunk.

Pattinson shot to fame last year when he took on the role of Edward Cullen in the big screen adaptation of Twilight, which was a box office hit. He will return to the role in November for the release of New Moon with Eclipse in the pipeline.

Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp narrowly missed out on the top spot after finding success this summer with his gangster movie Public Enemies, a performance that already surrounded in Oscar talk.

However he will return to the role of Jack Sparrow for the fourth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise which should begin shooting in the spring.

X-Men actor Hugh Jackman came third in the poll and he has also enjoyed box office success this summer as he reprised the role of Wolverine in the first of the X-Men spinoff movies.

Soccer ace David Beckham landed fourth place and Brad Pitt was voted fifth in the annual rundown.

Zac Efron, George Clooney, Chace Crawford, Justin Timberlake and Colin Firth rounded out the top ten.
