Robert Pattinson dreads embarking on the search for his first home - because he's convinced the paparazzi will follow him and reveal his new address to the world.
 
The Twilight hunk has spent much of the last two years living in hotel rooms around the world, trying to avoid public confrontations with the media and fans - but now he's desperate to settle down and spend a little of his movie fortune on a dream home.
 
But he's worried his new retreat will become a mecca for the Twilighters.
 
He says, "I really want to try and get a house. It's very, very difficult. I always think, just the actual process of looking for a house - if they're (paparazzi) following you, it defeats the entire purpose of trying to find a secret house...

"I'm absolutely awful at it (avoiding the snappers)."
