It's not the first time one of Federline's reported liaisons has had to come to his defence - porn star Kendra Jade appeared on US TV last month (FEB06) insisting her reported one-night stand with the dancer was blown out of proportion.

She revealed, "There was no act of inappropriateness there. There was no romantic thing happening there. I did not kiss him."

But now members of Spears' family are weighing in on the state of the pop star's marriage - her uncle ART is convinced the union is doomed.

He says, "I don't think Britney and Kevin are going to stay together."
