Shannen Doherty is in talks to star in the new spin-off of 'Beverly Hills 90210', it has been claimed.The 37-year-old actress recently met producers of the series to discuss the possibility of reprising her role as Brenda Walsh.However, Shannen will not commit to the role until she has seen her character's storyline. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton claims: "Shannen is interested, but she wants to know what the story is going to be first. She also wants more money than they are apparently offering."Shannen's former co-stars Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have already agreed to reprise their roles in the series, and one website recently started a petition asking for Shannen's return.One fan, Jimmy, wrote: "Fans want Shannen back for a reason - she gave the show the spark it needed! Her character is a legend! Fans want closure with Brenda Walsh. If this is a spin-off of '90210' then you owe fans that. Bring Brenda back!"Shannen left the original show in 1994 amid rumours she had fallen out with her co-stars, the crew and upset bosses with her lateness.
