Pregnant actress Sienna Miller has cleared out her wardrobe to raise money for Britain's elderly.
Holidays and celebrations during the summer interrupt our schedules and donations rapidly decline as a result - particularly this year with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Olympics and Euro 2012
The Factory Girl star, currently expecting her first child, has donateda purple maternity dress by Keungzai to be sold in a thrift store for the Royally Hot campaign, which encourages Britons to give up their unused clothing on Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.
Miller's sister Savannah, her design partner on their Twenty8Twelve clothing range, has handed over a retro-inspired black jumpsuit to be sold in an Age UK thrift store.
Hugh Forde, Trading Managing Director at Age UK, says, "Holidays and celebrations during the summer interrupt our schedules and donations rapidly decline as a result - particularly this year with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Olympics and Euro 2012.
"We're hoping that with big names like Sienna and Savannah Miller backing Age UK's Royally Hot campaign, it will act as a reminder to people to donate quality unused clothing or goods to our 450 Age UK shops, which is a great way to support the charity and make a real difference to older people's lives when money is tight".
