Sigourney Weaver will star in Tim Allen's directorial debut, 'Crazy on the Outside'.
The 'Alien' actress will co-star with Kelsey Grammer, Jean Tripplehorn and Ray Liotta in the film, in which Tim will also star.
The movie tells the story of a newly released prisoner who attempts to ask out his parole officer, who is a single mom. However, the relationship is soon tested by a manipulative older sister, played by Sigourney.
The screenplay is written by Judd Pillot and John Peaslee, who were also responsible for 'Payne' - the US version of cult UK TV show 'Fawlty Towers'.
Sigourney can next be seen alongside Tina Fey and Greg Kinnear in 'Baby Mama', the story of an infertile businesswoman who hires a working class woman to be her surrogate.
