Simon Pegg's Wilson fear

3 months ago 07th Jul 13:30

Simon Pegg would hate to end up like Owen Wilson.

The British actor doesn't want his relationship with director Edgar Wright - who worked with him on 'Shaun Of The Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' - to go the same way as troubled Wilson and 'The Royal Tenenbaums' director Wes Anderson's.

He said: "I don't want it to be like Owen Wilson and Wes Anderson. I don't want to be doing 'You, Me and Dupree' in a few years while Edgar's still making interesting films."

The 'Spaced' actor - who stars in the upcoming comedy based on Toby Young's novel 'How To Lose Friends And Alienate People' - also revealed how funny his co-stars Jeff Bridges and Kirsten Dunst are hilarious.

He said: "Jeff's a hoot. He's a real mischief maker, a child of the 60s. Kirsten makes me laugh a lot but she's very easy to make laugh. I make her laugh on purpose because we're better when we're up."
