Sir Michael Caine hates skinny women. The veteran British star has "never liked" thin females, and isn't impressed by the current trend for size 00 models. However, the 'Zulu' actor - who stars in new movie 'Children of Men' - insists he is more worried about "obese kids" than stick thin catwalk queens. He told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "I've never liked really skinny women. When I was 16, I was 6ft tall and skinny but I wasn't sick. My daughter Natasha is 6ft tall and skinny but she's not ill. "To be honest, I'm more worried about obese kids than skinny models."Meanwhile, Caine is set to begin filming a remake of his 1972 film 'Sleuth' - for which he was nominated for an Oscar. The movie tells the story of an author who loses his wife to a much younger hairdresser, and decides to take revenge.

In the original, Caine starred as the hairdresser and screen legend Laurence Olivier played the ageing author.

In the remake, the 73-year-old is taking over the role originally played by Olivier and Jude Law will play the hairdresser.

Caine insists he is not worried about filling the shoes of Olivier.

He said: "I'm not nervous at all because it's going to be completely different. I'll have a different leading man, a different script and a different director in Kenneth Branagh."
