Sir Mick Jagger is set to co-produce an animated film.The Rolling Stones frontman has reportedly signed a deal, through his company Jagged Films, to co-produce 'Ruby Tuesday' - a feature-length cartoon inspired by his band's song of the same title.French director Luc Besson's company, EuropaCorp, are financing the project and will handle distribution for the film, which is described as "a Faustian tale of a single mother searching for happiness in New York". 'Ruby Tuesday' will be written and directed by brothers Paul and Gaetan Brizzi, who previously helmed the feature-length cartoon 'Asterix vs. Caesar' and the 'Firebird Suite' segment of 'Fantasia 2000'.As part of the contract, the film will feature 12 Rolling Stones songs, although it has not yet been announced which tracks will make the soundtrack.Work on 'Ruby Tuesday' will reportedly begin later this year, with a release date pencilled in for 2008.
